The Weekly ReBoot - Mini Hack #9 How do we know when things are Done?

The Weekly ReBoot your regular Friday de-brief of things we’ve heard and seen coming from the Agile Community here in Melbourne and beyond.

If you’ve worked in an Agile team, you’ll know the satisfaction you get from pulling work into the Done column.

There really is nothing like that feeling of getting something - even something small - accomplished and that you’ve delivered some value. But there’s a lot of variety between what people consider to be ‘Done’ in all different types of teams for all different types of work, and how do we ensure that we don’t accidentally build too much into our what we build?

This topic isn’t about making judgements about how good you are at your continuous delivery pipeline if you’re developing software, rather it’s a simple trick that you can use to get clearer on the work you are doing in the first place.
